The campaign soon extended to many other areas of society, involving schools, municipalities, universities, ports and the world of cinema and reaching hundreds of thousands of people throughout Italy. This is why we asked schools to become plastic free<\/b>, <\/b>eliminating the use of single-use plastic, and creating a network amongst participating schools. Marevivo together with CoNISMa, (a network of universities that study the sea), reached an agreement to promote awareness on environmental protection and to join this campaign.<\/p>\n

First have been the Tremiti Islands that from May 1st 2018 managed to ban all plastic tableware exchanging it with biodegradable containers. Our Sailing Division has participated at the Nations Trophy of the Mediterranean League. During the Swan One Design regatta in Scarlino, Nautor’s Swan<\/b> launched its sustainable regatta<\/b> project, committing to eliminate the presence of single-use plastic. La Lunga Bolina<\/b> also provided a series of information for plastic free boats.<\/p>\n
