Marevivo is looking for a Digital Communications Specialist to join its team. The person we are looking for is a hard-working team player, who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various channels.

Role Description

The Digital Communications Specialist defines and coordinates the execution of a multi-channel digital communications strategy to maximize the impact of the organization’s activities.

As you start, key tasks will be to:

  • Own the editorial and content plan across platforms to raise awareness of the organization and amplify Marevivo campaigns – planning, drafting, scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting;
  • Design and create engaging content for Marevivo’s social media channels and website;
  • Develop captivating content for social media able to generate engagement and awareness within priority channels (website, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, CRM);
  • Writing effective copy to maximize the visibility of the assets created;
  • Management of operational daily tasks in social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn);
  • Find and commission ambassadors and brand lovers in order to leverage possible amplification and reposting opportunities;
  • Draft weekly and monthly reports and provide benchmarks and references with clear learnings for future planning;
  • Manage and implement CRM plan (DEM) together with the fundraising team;

You will be under the direct supervision of the Head of Communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Proven work experience as a social media manager for at least 4 years;
  • Fluency in Italian and English;
  • Outstanding copywriting skills suitable for each platform;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace;
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook Business
  • Experience in copy content creation;
  • Creative and with a strong knowledge of KPIs for the growth of our social media accounts;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet commitments within strict deadlines;
  • Greatly passionate about sustainability and marine protection;
  • Be proactive and easily empathize with others
  • BONUS: Proven work experience for a nonprofit organization

Terms & Conditions

Availability: 40 hours per week full-time, Monday to Friday

Where: Lungotevere Arnaldo da Brescia – Scalo de Pinedo – 00196 Rome

When: As soon as possible

Contract condition: temporary employment fixed-term contract with the possibility of inclusion in the team.
