It was recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding between Marevivo and ACES Europe – Italian Delegation: a protocol that provides, among other points, the common vision to spread the knowledge, image and practice of sport and culture, through the involvement of local institutions and European municipalities, in particular for the “Mediterranean Capital of Sport” award, established by Aces Europe, which will see Genoa first city awarded as “European Capital of Sport 2024″.

The agreement also wants to spread the promotion of respect for the natural environment in general, and in particular for the marine, landscape, historical environment,  raising awareness of local administrations and citizens.

«We are very happy to have signed this memorandum of understanding with Aces Italia, because the universal language of sport can help us to convey the message that is so crucial for us, namely that of respect for the environment and, in our case, for the sea” – said Rosalba Giugni, President Marevivo – “We are ready to join forces on the occasion of the award established by Aces Europe “Capital of the Mediterranean Sports” allows us to make our contribution to carry out projects aimed at raising awareness and promoting education environmental, speaking above all to young people.»

Through this deal, ACES Italy demonstrates once again how important is the work sport promotion – the comment of Vincenzo Lupattelli, President ACES Europe Italian Delegation – The collaboration with Marevivo will be important for the new award of Aces Europe “Mediterranean Capital of Sport” reserved for those Municipalities of the Mediterranean that face the sea. The sustainable promotion of sport must go hand in hand with the increase in sport and motor activity.»
